Is MindRot free?
Yes. MindRot is free to download and use on iPhone. Some advanced features are available via optional in-app purchases.
Does MindRot work on Android?
No. MindRot is iOS only and requires iPhone running iOS 16 or later. An Android version is not currently planned.
How does MindRot block apps?
MindRot uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to block selected apps. Blocking happens entirely on-device, no data leaves your phone.
Does MindRot collect my data?
No. MindRot is privacy-first. Your screen-time data and app usage stay on your device and are never sold or shared.
Can I schedule when apps get blocked?
